Foreign Students
Foreign Students who intend to study in the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC), Davao City, Philippines while still in his/her country of origin may submit a letter of intent to study addressed to the University Registrar with attached necessary documents, re: 2X2 colored picture, academic credentials, financial statement showing capability of schooling, and birth certificate and/or passport.

UIC is open to varied forms of communication in the submission of necessary documents while the student is still in his/her country of origin. If email is preferred, address to: registrar@uic.edu.ph
All sworn statements or affidavits must be duly notarized. Documents executed outside the Philippines must be authenticated by the Philippine embassy/consulate official of the Philippine Foreign Service at the place of issuance or nearest to it, with English translation, if written in other foreign language. Any document executed within the Philippines must be duly certified by the offices having official custody of the originals.
Upon arrival in Davao City, Philippines, the foreign student must visit the offices herewith below:

- Admission Office - submit the following credentials for evaluation;
- 2x2 ID picture;
- Original authenticated academic records and certificates;
- Passport;
- Photocopy of visa with the original for students who are holders of special visas;
- For Philippine-born Alien Students: Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) or Certificate of Registration (CR) and Passport;
- For Filipinos with dual citizenship: Passports of both citizenship;
- Guidance Office - take entrance examination;
- Admission Office - secure Notice of Admission if admitted;
- Registrars Office - for advice on the requirements and processes for the Bureau of Immigration;
- Secure a NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE to be forwarded to the Bureau of Immigration;
- Follow UIC Enrolment Procedures;
- Secure a copy of the CSAR (Class Schedule and Registration) issued by the Registrar's Office.
Foreign Students Admission Requirements
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION AT THE BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION:
- Applications for Conversion to Student Visa (18 years old and above)
- Duly notarized letter request from the applicant.
- General Application Form duly accomplished and notarized (BI Form No. MCL-07-01);
- Certificate of acceptance issued by the learning institutions duly accredited by the Bureau of Immigration to accept foreign students;
- Plain Photocopy of the applicant's passport showing applicant's bio-page, admission stamp and authorized stay of at least twenty(20) calendar days from date of filing;
- Bureau if Immigration (BI) Clearance Certificate.
- Applications for Special Study Permit (below 18 years old)
- Duly notarized letter request from the applicant.
- Duly notarized General Application Form accomplished by the applicant (BI Form No. MCL-07-01);
- Original copy of the Notice of Acceptance (NOA) containing a clear impression of the school's official dry seal or a duly notarized written endorsement from the school for the conversion of the applicant's status signed by the school's Registrar;
- Original copy of the Medical Certificate issued by the Bureau of Quarantine and International Health Surveillance or a government medical institution with competence to certify the applicant is not afflicted with any dangerous, contagious or loathsome disease and is mentally fit;
- Plain Photocopy of the applicant's passport showing applicant's bio-page, admission stamp and authorized stay of at least twenty(20) calendar days from date of filing;
- National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) clearance;
- Bureau of Immigration (BI) Clearance Certificate.
